Frank Zinck – holds a fifth degree black belt and a Menkyo Kaiden Masters ranking in Kyushu-Ryu Ju-Jitsu and is the senior instructor of the style as well as owner of Budocentral Martial Arts in Dartmouth Nova Scotia.

Frank also holds a second degree black belt and is the senior instructor of Karate-do Shotokai at the North Woodside Community Centre.

Frank is also ranked in several other styles and systems and has participated in many martial arts seminars.

Frank is the senior instructor and creator/developer of W.A.S.P. (Women’s Awareness Survival Program) a self-defense workshop for women offered throughout metro. He is also a senior NICT instructor and technical advisor as well as the senior instructor and co-creator of TACT (Tactical Awareness and Controlling Techniques).

Frank is also the creator and facilitator of Bully Proof, assertiveness training for elementary school aged kids.

Johanne Zinck

Chief Instructor Johanne Zinck – is a third degree (Sandan) Black Belt and senior youth instructor in Kyushu-Ryu Ju-Jitsu and a Shodan Black Belt in Karate-do Shotokai. As well she is the secretary/treasurer of Budocentral Martial Arts.

Johanne is a senior instructor and co-creator of W.A.S.P. (Women’s Awareness Survival Program) and dedicated to fighting violence against women and building self-esteem.

Johanne is also a Black Belt and instructor with Karate-do Shotokai and is also a senior youth instructor. She is also a senior instructor for Bully Proof and graduated from the Tactical Awareness & Combat Techniques, is certified in Nerve Impact Control Tactics and has successfully completed workshops on Yawara stick and ground fighting. She is a strong leader and instructor in all of Budocentral programs.

Johanne is also creator of BudoFit, an online place for people to find nutritional and fitness tips, motivation and meet like minded inspiring individuals through her challenges and online presence.
